Michael Jackson 1984 Dolls
There are only four (4) actual dolls available in the 1984 release:
- Beat It Doll
- American Music Awards Doll (AMA)
- Grammy Awards Doll
- Thriller Doll
I have seen many FAKE Billie Jean Style Dolls - this was not an actual released doll. This Doll is selling upwards of $250 on Ebay. Look at the box - most of them say another dolls title (example: I saw one recently that said American Music Award Doll - yet he was in the Billie Jean Outfit).
The outfits range in price.
The outfits that were sold individually include:
- Beat It
- AMA's
- Grammy Awards
- Thriller
- Billie Jean
- Human Nature (rare)
- Motown (rarest)
Watch for people buying the outfits and putting them on a doll and sticking the doll back in the box. As a collector - this is discouraging and although authentic - they are not as described!
Be informed and buy with caution. Some times you can buy the regular doll for $60 (low end buy it now price) and get the outfit for another $40-$60 and pay less then the scams who dress him up and pass it off as an original release.
